DESCRIPTION:Learn the backstory of the Anti-Saloon League Collection and how it became the Westerville History Museum. \nThe Westerville Historical Society will hold its bimonthly meeting at 7 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Westerville Public Library\, 126 S. State St. \nJackie Barton\, manager of the History Museum at the library will present the program about the collection. You will have the opportunity to view rare items that have not been onsite since 1974. Topics will include: \n\nHow did the Westerville Public Library come to hold the nation’s largest prohibition collection?\nDid this archive almost leave Ohio and how did it end up staying?\nWhere has it been stored for the past 50 years and what is happening now?\nWhat is in the collection?\n\nDoors to the library open at 6:30 p.m. This program is free and open to the public.
