DESCRIPTION:Westerville South High School Theatre students will present “Dead Man Walking” Feb. 5-8 at South\, 303 S. Otterbein Ave. \nPerformances will be at 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday\, Feb. 5-8\, and at 2 p.m. Sunday\, Feb. 8. ASL interpretation will be offered for the Feb. 8 performance. \nAbout the play: \nDead Man Walking\n\nBased on the life and experiences of Sister Helen Prejean and her time as a chaplain on death row in rural Louisiana. When Sister Helen is given her first assignment to be a spiritual advisor she learns and teaches empathy\, compassion\, consequences and truth to not only Matt in his final days\, but those that surround him as well\, including the victim’s families. This drama will be a mixture of photos\, videos and live action in a theatrical format brand new to South Theatre. \nTickets are available here.
