Bird-Friendly Westerville Talk and Community Current Issues Discussion

May 28 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Free
Discover Bird-Friendly Westerville!
Join Kristin Bourdage, a local birder and bird conservation enthusiast, for a lively talk on a new grant-funded project bringing bird-friendly habitats to our community. Learn how simple backyard changes can support birds and strengthen suburban ecosystems. Hear local birding stories, explore nearby birding hotspots, and find out why birding in Ohio is right up there with aviation, Buckeye candy, and Buckeye football as a source of local pride! Join us, connect with others, and get inspired to see and support the birds right in our backyards!
Dr Bourdage’s talk will be followed up by a Q & A and then an opportunity for participants to share and discuss their concerns, questions, and ideas regarding the recent events here in Westerville, specifically the 64 E Walnut development and the Westerville Parks and Recreation PROS – 10 year plan.
Located at Roushe Hall (27 S Grove Street)
