Uptown Fourth Friday street festivals

Join us as Westerville closes down State Street and invites the community to historic Uptown Westerville for the Fourth Friday festivals.
Gather to enjoy a summer concert series at City Hall, catch the roving entertainment, and visit the food trucks, pop-up vendors, and your favorite Uptown Westerville restaurants and retail shopping. Adults can take advantage of Uptown’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area, and stroll about with adult beverages sold by several Uptown establishments.
Dates for 2024: May 24, June 28, July 26, Aug. 23, Sept. 27, and Oct. 25.

This popular, longstanding street festival draws 10,000-30,000 people monthly to the Westerville’s historic Uptown business district, from 6-9 p.m. on the fourth Friday evening of each month, from May through October (six festivals).
From May through September, the festivals feature a popular band performance at the main stage in front of Westerville City Hall, street performers, activities and entertainment throughout, food trucks, specialty features, and more than 100 vendors. Just a few special areas of interest include the below. October brings the special, Halloween-themed Midnight Madness to Fourth Friday.
Summer Concert Series in the City Hall Courtyard
6:30-8:30 p.m. during Fourth Fridays, in the front courtyard at Westerville City Hall, 21 S. State St.

October: DJ Matt Ryan leads the Monster Mash Dance Party
Arts Alley at the FUSIAN lot
Visit “Arts Alley” staged by The Arts Council of Westerville in their new location in the parking lot at FUSIAN at 79 South State Street (across from Dairy Queen).
Arts Alley has crafts for kids, artists with work on display, David Myers Art Studio and Gallery, and live music!

Science at Fourth Friday!
Visit Science Street, a place to enjoy interactive science with Otterbein STEM, Scientist Jack Brown, OSU Society of Women Engineers, and more! (Science Street debuts later this summer!)
New: ArtStart area by Hanby
A new “Teens and Tweens ArtStart” area joined the Fourth Friday festival in May, located by Hanby Elementary School, 56 S. State St.
Funded through an Ohio Arts Council grant, the Teens and Tweens ArtStart area features music from DJ Matt Ryan, henna artist Saigeetha, and muralist April Sunami, who is creating a community mural project with the youth, and the chance to shoot basketball hoops.
Renowned local basketball talents Andre and Kaleb Wesson were on hand to shoot with the youngsters at the May Fourth Friday.
Entertainment at Rotary Park
Entertainers will set up at Rotary Park at the southeast corner of State and Home streets — adjacent to the Columbus Running Company, 50 N. State St.
Matt Ryan Mobile DJ Entertainment will provide entertainment June 23.
