End-of-Life Clothing Collection

What to do with old clothing and other textiles when they cannot be donated? Bring them to Sustainable Westerville volunteers at the Westerville Saturday Farmers Market Aug. 16 or Aug. 23!
In a pilot program of the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) and Recycle Right, members of Sustainable Westerville will collect old clothing in all conditions (cleaned and dry, please!) from 9 a.m. until noon Aug. 16 and Aug. 23.at the Westerville Saturday Farmers Market,
The SWACO pilot involving several local communities hopes to demonstrate that enough end-of-life clothing in the right categories can be collected to design an ongoing, cost-effective collection program. Sustainable Westerville is participating in the SWACO pilot’s local collection, at Uptown Westerville Inc.’s Saturday Farmers Market.
