Aug. 30 – KEN PARSONS with Bob May

Ken Parson is an excellent singer/songwriter from Coshocton who has become a favorite at JC. He plays all over Ohio and has wowed us with his vocals, musicianship and his surprisingly eclectic repertoire – ranging from “Summertime” (Gershwin) to “Rainbow Connection (Kermit the Frog) to John Prine to Pink Floyd! Ken has just released a marvelous original song, “My Little Man,” dedicated to his grandson.

Bob May is a wonderful fingerstyle guitarist/singer from Westerville, Boston and beyond, who has impressed us in past performances with on Saturdays and at our open mics. His vocal and guitar styles create a surprising and marvelous blend with Ken.  Enjoy!
