Ever since Megan was a little girl, she was obsessed with soft things. She was also super into art, so she got a degree in visual communication design at Kent State University. Little did she know that this would lead her on a path to owning her own business someday! She also met Erik, her future husband and business partner at Kent and after graduation they moved to the Windy City. In Chicago, Megan worked for a design firm while Erik became a dog trainer, but they soon became involved with the DIY movement happening there which would change their lives forever!
In 2003, Megan began creating designs that tickled her fancy and made her smile. She took a screen-printing class and fell in love with printing her illustrations on clothing. Erik helped her lug stuff to craft shows, organize the early orders, and eventually got promoted to VP of running stuff. Megan quit her day job in 2009 and hasn’t looked back. Erik joined the company full-time in 2012 and we have had many amazing employees throughout the years. After making the decision to grow our family to more than our beloved dachshund Heika, we made the big decision to move to Ohio in 2016 and now live in Westerville with our two children Ivan and Zia. We still travel to Chicago frequently for shows and now have a Shop & Studio in Uptown Westerville.
Megan has been screen printing since 2005 and has accumulated a LOT of designs, and screens! We do not have each option in stock, BUT that does not mean we can’t print it for you. The way we work is very customized to each person that orders from our website. Yes, we have some items waiting to be bought on our shelves, but most of our orders we make from scratch. Meaning, you pick your style, your color, your design and then we order that blank and once it reaches us we print it custom for you! This means you have A LOT of control over the process, but it will take usually about a week before your finished item ships.
