It’s Dec. 23! Still looking to finish your holiday gift shopping? Head to historic Uptown Westerville to find dozens of shops and restaurants, all offering unique options that are sure to please.

And through New Year’s Eve, get in the fun of the 2024 It’s a Wonderful Westerville Uptown Scavenger Hunt.

For the Uptown Scavenger Hunt, visitors are invited to visit Uptown businesses and search out the “It’s a Wonderful Westerville” bells hidden within. Snap a photo of yourself ringing the bell and post to social media, remembering to tag @uptownwestervilleinc and the business you are visiting.

Twenty-six Uptown businesses are participating in the hunt – see the list below. At any of them, you can pick up a Scavenger Hunt Clues Sheet and get in on the fun.

Find the special bells, ring them, and help Uptown get its holiday wings!

Find the Wonderful Westerville bell within 12 Uptown businesses, and earn one entry in a drawing for an awesome Uptown Gift Basket, valued at $200. Find the bells at all 26 participating businesses, and earn TWO entries in the gift basket drawing.

The Gift Basket is packed with products and gift cards from your favorite Uptown stores and eateries, like a gift straight from Santa’s sleigh! (See photos above and below.)

Here’s what to do once you’ve picked up a Clues Sheet from any participating Uptown business:

1. Match the clues on the sheet to the corresponding businesses throughout December, enter the businesses, and find the “It’s a Wonderful Westerville” bell to ring.
2. Then scan the QR code on the form, and enter online to win the Uptown Gift Basket. The deadline to submit online entries is Dec. 31.
3. Join us in celebrating and supporting local Uptown businesses! Snap a photo with our “It’s a Wonderful Westerville” bells while you’re out and about, and share it on Facebook or Instagram. Be sure to tag Uptown Westerville Inc. and the business you’re visiting!
4. Uptown Inc. will have a random drawing from all completed entries on Jan. 6, to choose our lucky winner. The winner will be notified by email. No purchase is required to participate or win.
