Warm weather events roll into Uptown in April
By JOE MEYER
Historic Uptown Westerville’s shops, galleries and restaurants operate year-round. But a special vibe beckons in the warmer weather months, when regular public events and entertainment join the mix, drawing vibrant, family friendly crowds.
Uptown’s brick-lined sidewalks and beautiful architecture serve as Westerville’s town center, and a cultural, shopping, dining and entertainment destination. The entire Uptown District earned placement on the National Registry of Historic Places in 2019.
Just 25 acres along State Street, in the heart of a 12.6-square-mile city, Uptown’s building stock and development is the envy of nearby towns and new developments. To Westerville’s east and west, communities have spent hundreds of millions to try to replicate the look and feel of our Uptown District, built by a succession of proud business investors in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Warm weather approaches

Enjoy the spring, and the Uptown hub of activity whether you’re stopping by to shop, visit an ice cream shop, or out to enjoy a nice dinner and drinks.
