PLEASE JOIN US for the “Chief’s Champions Pub Crawl” in Uptown Westerville. This is an extraordinary charity event that blends community, compassion, and a shared commitment to a vital cause.
Embark on Your Journey: The fun begins at Jimmy V’s Bar & Grill anytime between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 15. Upon arrival, you will receive:
WHERE: Uptown Westerville participating restaurants
WHY: LifePoint Real Estate charity event to benefit brain cancer research & treatment
HUB: North High Brewing, 240 S. State St.
The hub will be where “crawlers” check in, receive wrist bands, passports to all participating restaurants, participate in a 50/50 raffle and silent auction! Below is a summary/reminder about the pub crawl.
- All attendees will wear a wristband and be given a “passport” style card. Participating shops/restaurants can stamp off their location on the card when visited by the attendees. This encourages attendees to visit all participating restaurants. The attendee can then submit their filled-out card to enter into a raffle.
- Ideally each restaurant/shop will have a special discounted drink for the event and a food item they’d like to promote.
- We will be promoting this to past participants as well as the entire LP office past clients (Easily over 1000 people) and the Westerville community and on social media. This should attract a LOT of business to Uptown! Participating shops will be listed on social media/emails/Eventbrite and all marketing materials.
- Registration for attendees will be through Eventbrite.
- This event is being hosted strategically during DORA so people can get their drinks to go if they want.
- This event is to raise money for brain cancer research for Chief’s Champions: In 2017, Jeff Wilson, Chief of BST&G Fire Department in Sunbury was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. The local community rallied together, and the first Chief’s Champions 5k was held to raise money to support his fight against the disease. Sadly, Jeff lost his battle in June 2018, but the Chief’s Champions 5k continued to be held in his memory, and with a new mission–to help find a cure. Funds raised will be given to OhioHealth Research Institute to support clinical trials that focus on brain cancer and treatment.
