Westerville Central H.S. Global Scholars student Lexi Buehler and Java Central partner Andy Piper will host a round table discussion about the sustainability of coffee as a product.

They will be joined by other sustainability professionals in Westerville to help understand how the everyday decisions we make as individuals are connected to huge global challenges, how those challenges affect our lives and what we all can do to contribute to sustainable change for our future.

Excerpts from Andy’s film project of his recent ambitious Cafequity*/SCA sustainability project in Peru and the Amazon will be included.

Presented by Java Central, the Westerville Central High School Global Scholars program, and Cafequity, a venture associated with Java Central and lead by Andrew Piper that is supporting the global effort to make coffee the first sustainable agricultural industry in the world.
