Hello everyone!

My name is Catherine Mulcahy, but I go by Cat. I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new summer intern for Uptown Westerville Inc!

I am so excited to join the fantastic UWI team and help spread the word about Uptown and work on its special events. I look forward to a busy summer, connecting with the community that makes Uptown Westerville so special.

A little background on me: I’m now a rising senior at Bowling Green State University, and after helping out at UWI this summer, I will return to BG in August to complete my bachelor’s degree in business marketing. I’ve grown up in Westerville – specifically at my parents’ home, just five minutes away from Uptown – and I graduated from Worthington Christian High School in 2022.

I’ve always loved the charm of Uptown, the small-town feeling, and the amazing community we have here. Even before landing the internship at UWI, you could always find me enjoying the Fourth Friday street festivals, and browsing the Westerville Saturday Farmers Market. (The fresh bread and cut flowers are some of my favorites.)

I can’t wait to dive in and start working to help bring you all the fun events staged by Uptown Westerville Inc. If you see me in and about town, please say hello and introduce yourself. It’s going to be a great summer in historic Uptown!
