Get in the holiday spirit with a visit to Hanby House!
Join the Westerville Historical Society for a celebration of the holidays in the historic home specially decorated for the occasion, with music in the parlor and sweet treats in the adjacent Shoemaker Cottage.
The home of Ben Hanby, composer of Up on the Housetop will be open to the public for this annual showcase. The Hanby House is located at 160 E. Main St., in the heart of the Otterbein University campus.

The Hanby House is owned by the Ohio History Connection and managed by the Westerville Historical Society.
On the National Registry of Historic sites, the house museum is furnished with items depicting the lifestyle of a family of modest means in the 1850s. Home to William Hanby and his family, the dwelling is important because of its representation of the social, moral, educational, and artistic fabric of Westerville, Otterbein University and Ohio.
