Farmers Market primed for second week at North High/COhatch

FarmersKick off your Memorial Day holiday weekend with a stop at the Westerville Saturday Farmers Market May 24!

Following a fantastic debut at its new venue last week, the Market returns from 9 a.m. to noon May 24 for its second week on the shared campus of North High Brewing and COhatch, 240 S. State St. (See parking details below.)

Musical Guest May 24

The Westerville Farmers Market Musical Guest this week is Chris Hartman, a well-known local musician who performs regularly at venues across Central Ohio.

Hartman plays a wide variety of upbeat music that you’ll know and love! Check out his playlist here and come out to enjoy his performance Saturday morning as you shop the Farmers Market.

Returning to the Market Lineup

Fresh flowers

  • White Walnut Flower Farm: Virginia from White Walnut returns to the Market May 24, kicking off the season with fresh peonies and more grown at the flower farm here in the Westerville area.

Coffee & Tea

  • The Coffee Mess: Hot coffee and fresh coffee beans will be plentiful at The Coffee Mess booth, including Da Mooon, Dark Forest and MexiMex varieties.
  • Sufi Chai House returns with the mango lassi matcha latte, which was very popular last weekend. With a base of oat milk and ceremonial matcha, it’s topped with a mango lassi cold foam and freeze-dried mango.

Artisan Baking

  • Pies by the Pie Man returns! Tom and Kim will have Fresh Strawberry Rhubarb pies along with Cherry, Dutch Apple and Blueberry in 9-,  6- and 4-inch sizes. And don’t forget the Blueberry Zucchini Breads and Oatmeal Raisin and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies!
  • Emily from Ohio Pies continues to bring her delicious handmade pies to the Market, made with locally sourced, organic ingredients. The buttery, flaky crust is made by hand in small batches, then filled with local fruits and baked early Saturday morning, right before Market. Find flavors May 24 including strawberry rhubarb, blueberry, black raspberry and lots more.
  • The Biscuit Boss will be at the Market May 24, with:
    • Lemon Honey Poppy Seed
    • ‘BOSS BUTTER (our Nashville hot seasoning and honey)
    • Cookie Butter French toast
    • Everything Dill
    • Blueberry Cobler Crunch

Spring Plant Sale

From Scratch Farms from Johnstown will bring loads of plant starts and the first fresh veggies of the season! Included will be 15 tomato varieties, 12 herb varieties and 14 pepper varieties. You won’t find starts like these at garden centers or big box stores!

For every $25 spent on starts, customers receive a free 1-lb bag of the organic fertilizer From Scratch uses to prep its own farm beds.

Also offered: Ready-Made Herb Planters: Want fresh culinary herbs all summer without the hassle? Grab one of their pre-planted herb containers. Available in Large (four herb varieties) and XL (seven herb varieties). Just water regularly and give them liquid feed once a month.

From 9-noon, through Sept. 27

Find these vendors and many, many more at the Westerville Saturday Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to noon May 24, and continuing every Saturday through Sept. 27. The Market is a rain-or-shine event, presented by Uptown Westerville Inc.

Due to construction at Westerville City Hall, the Market for 2025 has relocated to the campus of North High Brewing and COhatch Westerville, 240 S. State St. Enjoy specialty drinks from North High and an open house at the COhatch co-working facility, located in the fully redeveloped Westerville Armory building.

Parking

Park across the street from COhatch in the lots behind the Cornerstone Community Church, 233 S. State St. Please cross State Street safely from Cornerstone to COhatch, by using the traffic signal crosswalk at State and Bishop Drive.

Additional parking is available a short walk up the Westerville Bike Trail from the Market at the City of Westerville building, 64 E. Walnut St., and the adjacent lots of the Westerville Public Library.

Visitors are asked to not park at the immediately adjacent Hill Funeral Home, 220 S. State, and Westerville Post Office South, 260 S. State.
