This program complements the Westerville History Museum’s exhibit, Public Opinion: Beyond the Headlines, exploring the history of Westerville’s free press, on display through March 31, 2027.

Twirl, stretch, and dance along with a BalletMet instructor during this interactive program for young children. Learn about ballerinas and their training, enjoy engaging stories, and take part in a fun movement activity that lets kids show off their dance skills. Children ages 0–7 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver (18+) for the duration of the program.

Ohio Open Doors Tour: Behind the Scenes in the Library Building

Step behind the scenes of the Westerville Public Library during this special Ohio Open Doors tour. Discover how three distinct building eras—from an 1850s home and the Anti-Saloon League headquarters to the original 1955 library and modern renovations—came together to create today’s library. Explore public and staff-only spaces, including the Westerville History Museum’s collections storage area, while learning about the rich history of the library and the Westerville community.
